Fabulous Founder
Prior to opening Fabulous Furballs in August 2007, Krista was a life long animal lover and consumer of all things luxury for her pets. Upon relocating to the Edmonton area from Las Vegas, Nevada, Krista discovered that there was no pet spa or high end boutique that met her fussy Yorkshire Terrier's standards. Thus, Fabulous Furballs was born! Krista's greatest pride is that each furball we are entrusted with is treated as our own- it is not uncommon to come in and find your pampered pooch relaxing behind our counter or on our manager's lap post spa treatment instead of languishing in a cage.

Krista is featured on Animal Planet's hit show, Groomer Has It Season 2, as the first Canadian contestant. She is also featured on the cover of Canadian Groomer Summer 2009, and is honored as one of the Edmontonian's Sizzling 20 Businesspeople Under 30.

LIZ DUSSAULT Fabulous Groomer & Certified Professional Pet Stylist After over 11 years at a large retail grooming facility in the Edmonton area, Liz has joined our fabulous team as both a master professional pet stylist and certified professional pet stylist instructor. Liz is well known in the Edmonton area for her scissor mastery, professionalism, and attention to detail. KATHARINA HUEGGENBERG Fabulous Fur Guru, CFMG A recent honors graduate of The Fur Institute, Kat has combined her ten years of experience breeding & showing Boxers with The Fur Institute's solid grooming foundation to create a career she loves. Kat's passion is for bringing the latest styles back from the dog shows and putting your pet into the trendiest cut possible. Kat recently achieved her Certified Feline Master Groomer credential from the National Cat Groomers Institute of America, and loves making feisty felines look fabulous!
BARB EASTLAND Fabulous Groomer & Certified Professional Pet Stylist Born in Montreal, Quebec, Barb moved out west at an early age and spent her younger years on a ranch around horses, cattle, dogs and cats. At present she is raising and breeding Yorkshire Terriers on a small scale. An artist by nature, Barb works in oils, loves Interior Design, Woodworking, and Sewing. "I decided to take a Pet Stylist Course because being with my Yorkies is what I enjoy most. When someone comes into Fabulous Furballs, I want them to know that I am there to totally pamper their trusted furry pet."
LAURA ROBINSON Fabulous Groomer & Certified Professional Pet Stylist After graduating from the original AB Dog Grooming School as a Certified Pet Stylist, Laura spent over 10 years working with beloved furballs of all shapes and sizes in the Wetaskiwin area. Laura’s motto has always been "the bigger, the better!" when it comes to fabulous furballs. She has a knack for making the trendiest cuts extraordinarily functional to suit your furball’s lifestyle. KATHY HIRT Fabulous Fur Guru After a successful career in the dental field, Kathy decided to follow her passion and become a fabulous fur guru for our St Albert location. KATE CHORNA Certified Professional Pet Stylist & Fabulous Groomer As a University of Alberta graduate with a degree in animal sciences, Kate found that working with livestock just wasn't fulfilling her life long passion to work with animals. Joining the Puppy Palace team three years ago, Kate found that grooming was the perfect combination for her talent with scissors and her desire to make a difference in the lives of fabulous furballs.
